Vodka Lemonade Cooler
This vodka lemonade cooler is so good and refreshing, before you know it the Tito’s and Lemonade are all gone! The cucumber adds a nice summery side note to the drink, not too sweet and not too tart. If you want to go ahead and make your own homemade lemonade go for it, or even use Country Time or Kool Aid, whatever you prefer is just fine, because after a couple it won’t really matter! Vodka is totally your preference also. I seem to be on a Tito’s kick lately.
I’m really glad I got to have a couple of these last night before Scott got home because he drank the rest and now I’m out…nothing is sacred in this house…. It’s always “well we’re married, we share everything” blah blah blah. He seems to forget I’m an only child! I don’t share well 😉
Summer is my all time favorite season, in Minnesota the winter’s are brutal and LONG. I do whatever I can to savor every moment of summer around here. This year we have been fortunate to have a string of nice days to enjoy, and during the quarantine there is not much else to do but sit on the patio with a drink. Thank God planting has started so I get a little time to myself. I will be making more summer drinks in the near future. I’m pretty sure I’ve blown my liquor budget this month, but with not being able to go anywhere, what else are you going to do.
Give this summery drink a try and add an umbrella if you have one. A bonfire helps too, maybe with some socially distanced friends around. They always make drinks taste better!
Cheers to summer! I hope you all stay safe and healthy until we are able to meet together again face to face.
