Cooking Tips for Perfect Pickled Candied Jalapenos

Candied Jalapeños Recipe

While I won’t be sharing the recipe today, I do have some tips to help you make the best Pickled Candied Jalapenos.

  • Firstly, always choose fresh jalapenos. They should be firm, bright green, and free from blemishes. Fresh jalapenos will give you the best flavor and crunch.
  • Secondly, when preparing the jalapenos, remember to wear gloves. Jalapenos contain capsaicin, which can cause a burning sensation on your skin.
  • Thirdly, don’t rush the pickling process. Allow the jalapenos to soak in the pickling liquid for at least 24 hours. This will ensure that they absorb all the wonderful flavors.
  • Lastly, store your Pickled Candied Jalapenos in a clean, airtight jar. This will keep them fresh and crunchy for longer.
